Fozzie Bear
Fozzie Bear was found wandering in the streets of Cary. He was turned into Best Friends Pet Adoption because this poor guy was terribly matted and had a bad case of heartworms. He was put into a temporary foster home for the duration of his heartworm treatment. Once Fozzie was through with his treatment he had to find a new foster home. This is when long time customer (now new employee/ member of the Unleashed family) mentioned this cute little guy to Jamie and Hilal. They were only supposed to foster this lovable pup, but that obviously didn't work. They fell in love, and added Fozzie to their family. Fozzie has been a wonderful addition, and when he's in the store you can find him happily snoozing behind the counter.
Update October 2012: Upon taking Fozzie to the vet, it was found that he had a tumor in his nasal cavity. By the time it was found, the cancer had already spread to his brain and bones. He was in a lot of pain, and there wasn't much else Jamie & Hilal could do. They did the only thing they could, and Fozzie passed away October 10th 2012.
