Shannon was born and raised in Wake Forest, North Carolina, and has been around dogs for as long as she can remember. Her journey with Unleashed began in 2021 at the Crabtree kiosk, where she quickly became known for her energy, kindness, and knack for helping customers find exactly what they -- and their pets -- need.
From Crabtree she moved to City Market and eventually worked at every Triangle location, gaining a ground-level understanding of each store's community and what matters most to local pet parents. Along the way, she served as an assistant manager, balancing day-to-day operations with the personal connections that keep regulars coming back.
In January 2025, Shannon joined the headquarters team as a full-time Marketing Assistant, bringing together her in-store experience and her love of storytelling. She helps share Unleashed's mission, highlight adoptable pets and community events, and make sure the brand's digital presence feels as warm and welcoming as walking into one of the stores.
Shannon shares life with a busy crew: Max the hound and service dog, Artichoke the German Shepherd/Aussie mix, Inferno the orange tabby, Hex the tuxedo cat, and Shiloh the Australian Shepherd. She is also a former member of the Junior World Agility Championship USA Team (2020), which means she knows a thing or two about channeling canine energy in constructive ways.
