Amazing shop. They have a great treat and food selection for the discerning consumer. They offer brands that I feel comfortable feeding my dog who is a service animal and works really hard for me so I reward him with the best food And treats I can find. My pup was very happy to walk around and he even was gifted a little treat! I will %100 return :)

You're about to read a very positive review, so before someone thinks I'm biased in some way, know that I don't know these people personally nor do I have any affiliation with them - I'm simply a local customer and that's it. And I've only lived in Raleigh for a couple of years, so don't be a doubting Thomas about this review - take it at face value. Here goes.
This place is flat out terrific. I've never experienced such knowledgeable, friendly, helpful staff in a pet store. These people really love dogs and cats and their inventory and helpfulness shows it. Many might say "but these smaller stores are more expensive than the big guys". Wrong. Two things here, the first is comparing apples to apples of the exact same product. 12" bully sticks at Petco are substantially more expensive than here. Second, there's the quality of the products. If you feed your dog or cat cheap stuff, which we've tried, You end up with higher vet bills in the end than if, like what you feed yourself, you pay attention to good diet. Our two dogs do way better on the quality raw frozen food from here. Things got a bit tight financially for a bit and so we went back to cheaper stuff and guess what - vet visits. So we're back to the food frozen stuff and our dogs are way healthier and more energetic. It was false economy in our case to skimp on cheaper quality food.
So, in summary, do yourself a favor and buy your dog and cat stuff here, because it's high quality, great service, and no questions asked if there are problems - these people have got your back. I'm a huge fan.ut? What makes it interesting? Write a catchy description to grab your audience's attention...

I go to the Lake Boone Trail location. The staff is so friendly and excited about helping and seeing your pet. I love bring in my dog for some TLC and great natural products. 2 staples for our babies are the Stella & Chewy's mixers and the bully sticks. Will go back over and over!

A great multi-service shop!
I wasn't traveling with my pups, but I stopped in anyways while wandering the city.
They had a variety of treats, toys and leads. They also seemed to offer grooming services.
I ended up scooping two little toys out of their $3 bin and I had a great conversations with the two associates who helped check me out.
Until SuperCon!

Love the staff! Super sweet, knowledgeable and helpful! And my pup absolutely loved his birthday cookie from them.
I like that this store carries high quality dog food and treats. My dog eats Orijen and usually it is hard to find in pet stores but thankfully I've found it here and at a reasonable price. I also love the huge selection of pet treats, chews and toys. You think the store looks small from the storefront but they sure pack a lot of goodness in that place. Plus their bully sticks and chews are much cheaper than most of those corporate pet stores and I mean significantly cheaper. Brady and I really appreciate that.
If you're needing help finding the right dog food for your pet, these guys are the people to go to for sure. But either way it's a great place to stock up on goodies for your pup. Highly recommend!

Live in North Raleigh? Need a fun local place to shop for your favorite 4 legged child? Then you need to stop by and shop at Unleashed. They have a plethora of great healthy foods for your dog or cat, and even have a self dog-washing station in the back.
Throughout the store are treats, food, toys, collars, shirts (for humans!), and more dedicated to really catering to a passionate dog/cat owner. The fact that they are a small business, I would shop here over Petsmart any day.

Holy Smokes......went into one of the big box pet stores the other day and it reminded me that I hadn't done a review on my local pet supply shop, Unleashed. Just walking into Unleashed you can feel the love for our furry friends. It's a small shop compared to the big boys but what they lack in square footage they make up for in Customer Service. Everyone is so helpful with a smile and a genuine interestin the welfare of your critters. In addition the pricing is reasonable. One of my cats was becoming a finicky eater and they gave me a few samples to try gratis. If you want a feel good experience try out unleashed. You'll be a happy camper.

My dog loves ALL of their treats. Literally ALL of them. She tries to steal them out of the baskets and before I know it, I'm practically buying the whole store. They also have a variety of toys, leashes, and collars that I have purchased and loved. They do have a large variety of foods as well, but I cannot buy them as my dog has a special diet. The staff is always incredible; they ask if I need help and are wiling to walk me through. They even sized my dog for a harness! Another bonus: theres a dog washing station in the back!

I adore this store! It has everything healthy + fun for your four legged friends. They also have a self dog washing station but I have never used it so I can't talk about it. The staff is very helpful and friendly. This store can get quite busy on the weekends. They often have charity pet washes and adoption events.
Also, the prices are very reasonable. Many times specialty pet stores can be more expensive but I find that isn't true with Unleashed. Stop by and check it out. You won't be disappointed.

I've lived in Raleigh for 2 years, and today was my first trip to an Unleashed store. I am ashamed of myself for the money and time I've spent at petsmart/petco. My trips to the latter 2 are always.... something I dread. I know to expect little help, lack of knowledge about the products on the shelf, and a clutter of products that I (personally) don't believe any PET store should sell (i.e: dog/cat foods that are cheap/unfit for the well being & nutritional needs of an animal). I know, I am critical, but I spend a great deal of time and money in pet stores (a 30lb bag costing $50 lasts maybe two weeks in this house? Not to mention the supplements my spouse and I have been urged to buy to help with our 10month old great danes kidney function, meds, etc). Petsmart/petco are large, unattractive, somewhat uninviting stores.. and as I said before- their employees do not know much about what their store sells- therefore *most* employees aren't good at recommending anything. Unleashed (on Creedmoor Rd in Raleigh) made my entire week this afternoon. Not only were they VERY knowledgeable about everything in the store, they seemed to take genuine interest in my dog who was wih me, Forrest (a 14wk Harlequin Great Dane), as well as an interest in my two at home and the issues we've had. They carry the food I now use (and will continue to use FOREVER! It's an incredible food for giant breeds that's also very easy on tummies! Taste of the Wild Pacific Stream Canine), and they don't bother stocking their store with foods that aren't actually suitable for your furry family. Back to their knowledge- I've been wanting to add a probiotic to the packs food. The employee helping me was so wonderful! He took me through all the things they had in store and helped me pick something to try out and explained further to me the benefits of a probiotic. At checkout I saw some cute smoothie treats for the pack, all natural of course and even though they were already on sale, I ended up getting several for free, just because! The guy and gal working there this evening were just exceptional, and obviously I don't find exceptional service often so I get very excited when I do! To top everything else off- the male employee offered to carry everything to my car so I wouldn't have to manage a 40lb puppy and a 30lb bag of food (and some smoothies). Oh, and once you buy 12 bags of food you get a free bag! That may not mean a lot to some people, but like I said- we go through a LOT of food! WHEW. Summary: Unleashed is an awesome store & I was very impressed all around! If you live in Raleigh, Cary, or Wilmington, check them out!
