Product announcement:
We love introducing new things for our beloved pets, and hope that you'll check out some of our fun summer additions! On the flip side, you might notice a couple of old favorites missing from our shelves. For a few different reasons (after careful consideration & much deliberation,) we have been phasing out many (but not all) of Taste of the Wild, and all of Ziwi Peak. We have searched high and low for suitable alternatives, and while we are sad to see some of our favorites go, we think that you and your pets will love what we found (our pets sure do!) Be sure to read our blog in the link below for more details (all the why's) behind our difficult decisions (written by owners Amy & JP- the "mom and pop" still making these tough decisions for Unleashed on behalf of all the pets we love). Also, be sure to see our "Featured Items" section for a glimpse at one of the newest foods we have added!

Employee Spotlight of the Month
Johnny Pilkington is the Manager of our Downtown Raleigh Store, in the Historic City Market by Moore Square. Before Unleashed, Johnny never had worked in a pet store, but he had grown up on a farm and was excited to get back to his roots with animals! He graduated NC State with a degree in English. If you have ever been to our store, you might have seen all the amazing signage around and how organized things are! Johnny started working with Unleashed back in 2019 in our Lake Boone location. From there, he transitioned to City Market early on during the pandemic to help out with staffing shortages. Johnny values City Market's customers and their pets so much that when he was given the opportunity to stay, he gladly said yes and became Assistant Manager in January of 2020. If you have ever had the pleasure to meet Johnny, you know how amazing he is! He is the first one to come to give your dog a treat and get down on the floor and to give pets to all of the regulars that come to visit on their daily walks. It was no surprise that when given the opportunity in February of this year, he accepted the Manager position of City Market. Johnny is the proud dad to a 15 year old Pomeranian Dog named George who he rescued when he was 10 months old! Although he loves many of the products in our store, his favorites are Mountain Dog leashes because of their durability and great variety in colors and smallbatch raw pet food because it keeps George healthy and happy!

We are excited to finally be able to officially celebrate the opening of our 10th location!!! Join us and some local partners for some fun and raffles that benefit Independent Animal Rescue and Animal Protection Services of Durham!

Introducing our newest line of treats, Colorado Pet Treats! These are great little chip treats that break down easily and come in some great, unique flavors!
Another new line of treats, Ndependent. These are great variety of protein freeze-dried treats with mixtures of comfort food ingredients and herbs.
Another new line of treats, but for the cats this time, is Shameless Pet Treats! These are a great new treat for your kitty to try and have great flavors including Lobster!
